Find/Edit Keyword, Sleight, or Prop
This screen combines Find and Edit functions. It allows you to correct misspellings, or delete items you feel you don't need.
You can search the database by using the "Search for" field at the top of the screen, and edit the information at the bottom of the screen. You may also select an item for editing by scrolling through the list of items in the middle of the screen.
Fields on the Find Keyword, Sleight, or Prop screen
Search for:
In the "Search for:" field, you may enter a partial item name or a complete item name. Clicking on the Search Database button will position the scroll box to the first item in the database that starts with the characters you entered. (Case insensitive.). The item will also be
Keyword, Sleight, or Prop
The item you wish to edit. (Max. 30 Characters.)
Buttons on the Find Trick Screen
Search Database
Searches the database according to the search conditions you entered. The item will be positioned in the middle of the list box under the search button. The item will be placed in the edit field at the bottom of the page.
Del. Keyword, Sleight, or Prop
Deletes the currently selected item. If that item is associated with any trick in the database, you will get a warning message notifying you of this fact. You will have the opportunity to cancel the deletion if you choose.
Close
You may exit this screen by clicking the "Close" button. Note: If data has been entered , you will get a warning that there is data that has not been saved. See: Close Options.
Save
Saves the information on the screen to the database. Any changes you make will automatically be applied to all tricks in the database.
Clear Changes
Clears all data entered on the screen.
